Testosterone Therapy

The cases of men seeking low testosterone treatment are increasing every year. Men over the age of 30 may experience low testosterone levels with a decline in the production of testosterone. It is estimated that 4 out of 10 men over the age of 45 have low testosterone. Advanced Individualized Medicine of Naples offers treatment designed to improve the quality of life for those who suffer from low testosterone.

Testosterone is the hormone responsible for the development of typical male sexual characteristics like muscles, the deepening voice, and the size of the penis and testes. The testosterone hormone also stimulates the activity of the male secondary sex characteristics. Some of the other male functions that are affected by low testosterone levels include sperm production, sex drive, muscle size and strength, red blood cell production, fat distribution, and bone mass. Low testosterone levels seriously affect the way you live your personal and professional life. If you are experiencing some of the symptoms above, learn how our treatment options can help you with these symptoms.

Benefits of Testosterone Therapy include:

  • Improved Quality of Life.
  • Reduced Symptoms of Depression.
  • Improved Sex Drive and Sexual Function.
  • Development of Quality Muscle.
  • Decreased Tiredness and Bone Density Loss.
  • Improved Overall Well-Being.

What is Testosterone Therapy?

In addition to weekly or bi-weekly intramuscular injections, we offer the BioTE® Pellet treatment, an organic bioidentical hormone alternative, to create an option for injection therapy. The pellets are administered every six (6) months and offer consistency in the administration of the daily suggested dosage.
